Role Summary:
Protect the health and safety of our personnel and the environment. Conduct all activities in line with our non-negotiables, applicable processes and cultural pillars. Coordinate and monitor all job activities as outlined in MTJC across organizational boundaries . Primary contact for client for job preparation, execution and close out, and as such, will manage the relationship to ensure business success for Oilfield Service Company. Be familiar with the assigned client’s process for MOC / escalation to ensure the proper process is followed when there is risk of not achieving the clients objectives (examples clients asking for Oilfield Service Company to operate outside of product specifications, client asking Oilfield Service Company to execute work in way that is not aligned with the Oilfield Service Company SOP…) . Prompt escalation of issues that can impact service delivery.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Operator should be well conversant with all aspects of cementing and allied pumping jobs. The cementing Operator should have good knowledge about the use of cement additives their functions and factors influencing slurry design. Operator should also be well conversant and experienced in operation and maintenance of reputed makes / types of Cementing units. He should also have knowledge and experience of using drillable and retrievable packers, Cement retainers, ECP’s, Cementing heads, Subsea cementing equipment and other tools and equipment, generally used for cementing and allied pumping services for activation of well in oil industry. The Cementing Operator should also be well conversant in operation and maintenance of Batch Mixer.
Additional job responsibilities : The Cementing Operator deployed should be agile and of sound health to carry out vigorous operational and maintenance job of cementing unit. The Operator has to carry out all the cementing and other allied jobs carried out with cementing unit during drilling of oil and gas wells. He has to carry out following jobs and ensures that they are done within the recommended specifications, procedures and polices including but not limited to as listed below:
Casing cementation for all sizes of casing, Liner cementation for all sizes of liners, Stage cementation for all sizes of casings, BOP stack testing up to 15,000 psi or as required, Acid jobs and other allied jobs, Squeeze jobs, plug jobs and retainer jobs, Diesel pumping, packer and other pressure pumping jobs, Leak off test, Misc. Pressure testing up-to 15,000 psi, Assembly and disassembly of retainer stab tool and operation of cement retainer.
Operator also has to carry out all other jobs with cementing unit not listed above but connected with drilling, production testing and work over of oil and gas wells in offshore related to cementing unit
Qualifications/Requirements:
The Operator should have an experience of five (5) years of performing Cementing Services independently, out of which at least 2 years should be in offshore areas.
The Cementing Operator should have passed at least SSC or equivalent and trade certificate from reputed vocational institute and should also have undergone basic training in Cementing in reputed cementing school, such as Halliburton/ Dowell Schlumberger/ BJ/ IDT (ONGC) or any other reputed cementing school.
Desired Characteristics:
- The Operator should have an experience of five (5) years of performing Cementing Services independently, out of which at least 2 years should be in offshore areas
- Rotation: 28 X 28.
- Must be Fluent in English.
- Eligible Indonesian passport holder with valid passport.
